REESE Witherspoon has given singletons everywhere some advice on how to handle those scary first dates.
The actress — who recently split with actor boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal and is now stepping out with Hollywood agent Jim Toth — plays the victim of a bungling suitor in comedy movie How Do You Know? and has some tips on just what everyone who’s looking for love needs to know.
“It’s probably not a good idea to talk about your exes too much on a first date,” she said.
“It’s also no good to have a panic attack or take off all your clothes. Better to keep you clothes on!”
Reese recently revealed she enjoys speaking about her love life and her friends’ romances but she doesn’t get hung-up on former partners.
“I’m literally the girl who talks constantly about relationships. I hang up with one friend, and I pick up the phone and call another one. It’s an ongoing dialogue all day long. I don’t understand a woman who doesn’t talk about love and relationships,” she said.
“You gotta be glad that you went through them, and you gotta be glad that you learned from them. You gotta learn what you want.”
